Operating model
Specify how scope, mission readiness and close-out should connect. Define what a useful outcome would look like from the vessel operator’s perspective, before choosing the tools or claiming an improvement.
BELSEA / Development
BELSEA’s development work is directed at a simple commercial test: can underwater work be made more predictable within the vessel’s operating window, at acceptable whole-mission economics?
Development direction
Specify how scope, mission readiness and close-out should connect. Define what a useful outcome would look like from the vessel operator’s perspective, before choosing the tools or claiming an improvement.
Define repeatable observations, site constraints and credible baselines. Compare the proposed approach against practical operating conditions before drawing conclusions about predictability or whole-mission economics.
Retain meaningful field experience and investigate new tools where measurable value can be demonstrated. Technical ambition must remain connected to the actual task and the people carrying it out.
Evidence before claims
Public updates will distinguish proposed work from demonstrated results. A capability will only be described as demonstrated when there are reviewable records and the public wording has been approved.
06 / Collaborate
We welcome practical conversations with shipowners, fleet managers and maritime operators, alongside technical and field partners interested in validating a better approach.
